 song questions
Hi, I saw the national tour of Jersey Boys over the summer and just now got the album. So since I'm new to this show, and there's so many songs, which song was it where they were being "filmed" onstage, and on the screens above them it showed the real Four Seasons singing the same song?
And which number was it that looks like the playbill cover? (they're facing the back; yellow & reddish lights)
thank you in advance!

Hahaha thanks, everyone. Over a year now, over 1,000 views and no one answered.

 Re: song questions
There is no actual footage of the real Four Seasons used in Jersey Boys. It's a live feed of the actors on stage. The only time you see an image of the real Four Seasons is during the finale.
Dawn. The lights are only yellow.

Hahaha, I opened that little, onsite music player on the official site, which offers samples of a lot of the songs featured in the show, and I can't believe how well I know all of them!
Especially "Just Too Good to Be True." My older sister used to play it ALL the time, and annoy my twin sis by lip-synching it to her.
I guess I didn't know the group by name but their songs are wonderful and make me very nostalgic.
Now I can't wait to see it in London! 2nd row, dead center. Woo-hoo!

The London cast is amazing (I am sensing a pattern here with me raving about London casts...) but yes, they are awesome. I hope you enjoy it!

Heehee! No worries.
I'm worse still. At least you're not known as the rabid-orchestration-crazy-person.
But, yes, I can't wait to see it in London. I love that it's playing at the Prince Edward Theatre--I've always wanted to see a show there. Not only did the original production of Evita play there but so did Hal Prince's Show Boat revival!!!11!

I highly recommend not educating yourself anymore on the show or on Frankie Valli -- it'll make the surprises even better.

[Could have sworn I posted this earlier, but I'll post it again]
I was going to watch some YouTube vids the other night that I'm sure included documentaries but ended up going to bed instead. Thanks for the tip!
