Post Too short to play Elphaba?
i would love to play elphaba on broadway some day but I think I'm too short. all the Elphabas i've seen in the youtube vids i've watch seem tall. I'm only 4'08"/142.24cm tall. Am I too short?

It depends on the director, however they may use heels to make you appear taller.

Definitely you can use heels to appear taller and play elphaba on broadway, most of the directors are having the strategies to solve the issues.

I've seen the actual audition requirements.... as far as i remember, there are no particular requirements for Elphaba.

However I specifically remember for Galinda, there's a max height of something like 5ft4..... this is because of the bubble entrance. you have to fit in bubble with harness
