that the first word of the show is "good" and the last word of the show is "wicked"? Do you think that those opposites being bookends was intentional, or just a coincidence?

Absolutely. When millions is ploughed into such a show, i doubt there are many coincidences. Don't forget, writers, dramaturgs etc go through it with a fine toothed comb

Also has anyone noticed that in Phantom of the Opera Christine's last word is "morning" while the Phantom's last word is "night"? I love it when writers do stuff like that, it makes me love those musicals even more!

I think there was a coincidence between those 2 words. One is starting with good and another is bad words.
