Has it ever occured to you that it may show a stronger character to listen carefully to what others have to say rather than take an immediate stance of defiance simply because of your personal feelings? I mean, I have been in many a debate throughout my life and although my record has been quite good so far, every so often there's one person who manages to point out something I'd overlooked or noted a flaw in my reasoning and I could not be more grateful to them. Thanks to them, I have been able to gain new insights and overall feel like a more enlightened individual as a result. I have come to realise that my initial approach of taking a defensive stance was ultimately nothing more than me, as they say, putting my heart before my head.
I don't understand why not everybody agrees with this.

don’t see any reason for me to have to justify the reasons behind me liking something when to me it’s just a reaction to what I read/see/hear.
I don't understand this. Analyzing the reaction one gets from experiencing something is part of experiencing it and part of the enjoyment.

Re: OMG! Wicked Movie Cast revealed!!!!!!!!!
I agree with what was previously said. Twilight was, in general, something simple to read with a wide age range. I've seen middle aged women who were huge Edward fans. The books were fine, the movies, a little overrated. At this point I am removed enough from all the fangirl action to have a neutral stance. If people like it, fine. If some don't, that's fine too. Everyone has different tastes and that should be respected a little more often. Senseless comments such as 'I hate Twilight' and the reasoning behind it not being sufficiently backed up is just pointless and stupid. It's just another way to start an argument that will only go in circled and never reach a conclusion.

Re: OMG! Wicked Movie Cast revealed!!!!!!!!!
Dear "Wicked" Fans,
As WTH13's stepmother, I'd like to tell all of you the truth:
WTH has been inhaling a lot of glue lately, having delusions, etc. The TRUE cast of the movie version of "Wicked" has not been released in its entirety, but the two female stars will more than likely be Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell.
I DO know that the list of auditioning actresses included, but were not limited to the following actresses:
For Elphie- Idina Menzel, Cher Lloyd, Samantha Barks, Kate Hudson, Lindsay Lohan, Avril Laveign, Miley Cyrus, Mandy Moore, Britney Spears, Ashlee Simpson, Christina Aguilara, Ke$ha, and Tammy Erin.
For Glinda- Kristen Bell, Emmy Rossum, Kristen Stewart, Emma Watson, Michelle Williams, Cecilia Keenan-Bolger, Faruzia Balik, Jessica Simpson, Wynter Gordon, and Jenna Jameson.
Thanks in advance for your replies.

Apart from the fact that these are all pop singers, this is actually pretty good casting. Usher as Fiyero... Not sure about Usher in Wicked, but him as Fiyero at least makes sense. So psyched that Bey Bey's in it!!!
