I have the opposite problem, I can hit that note but not the high notes in Wizard and I and Defying Gravity. Well not belting it anyway, I can hit them in head voice. I want some voice lessons so bad!

For Elphaba, the high belting is so much more important than those rare low notes. Sometimes, it is easier to talksing those types of notes. If you can't extend the range, experiment how you can fake it.

i can reach the low note when i'm warmed up - but otherwise not. the higher ones are no problem, but the glinda high notes cause difficulty!!

I could never hit that note before today, so you could very well expand your range, it does happen. And I'm a soprano and I generally can't hit low notes.

In Elphaba's full version, the last note is an E3, and in Glinda's reprise it's a G3.
