Jennifer Hudson needs and will stay around. She is due to play Rosaleen in a non musical movie the secret life of bees. Forest Whitakers wife in another film and Also Aretha Franklin in her biography. I think these roles will not only show her talent as an actress but will have her be an academy award legend due to all these significant rroles.

I agree, I think sheis going to be huge. She's extremely talented, and I'm really excited to see her career only get better. *knock on wood* (I don't want to jinx her.)

Well after the tragedy in her family it's gonna remain to be seen where her future will be going.
It's a shame here she is nominated for her first grammy awards and she can't even celebrate the nominations or even the wins next year if she gets them.
I know life is life but it's just too bed that one of the most un-pretentious celebrities around has to deal with such tragedy.....

After her album, J hud needs to do some musicals, for sure. As someone said above, I think she needs to originate a role, or originate a role in a revival.

Jennifer Hudson is one of the most talented performers today. I fully believe she'll keep making awesome movies and churning out great songs.
I'd also love to see her on broadway. Maybe Motormouth Maybelle?

Well seeing as both of the shows are closed on Bway, I'm going to go with a no on both of those.
What I'd really like to see would be a revival and/or movie of "Once on This Island" with her as Asaka.

American Idol doesn't always get it right, but there is a reason she was booted 7th or 8th off of the show...yeah she can sing, but her future is in acting. Quote me on that.
