Re: 'Mary Poppins' to close March 3rd Kind of can't believe it's closing. I feel like it is such a draw for families. Aladdin will probably be too though.
Mary Poppins has such a huge ensemble. That's a lot of people out of work with the Broadway and Tour shows both closing....

Re: 'Mary Poppins' to close March 3rd I've gone from being sad to angry. The Studio 54, Richard Rodgers, and Booth theaters will be open by summer and the Circle in the Square, Longacre and Belasco are vacant now. This is sounding like when Beauty and the Beast was closed in its prime to make way for Little Mermaid. Hopefully Aladdin will prove to be a more solid piece of theater than TLM.

Re: 'Mary Poppins' to close March 3rd "Aladdin" has been open for four months. I was pretty disappointed with it; none of the new songs are good.
