Post Drowsy Chaperone Tour Cities
Just saw a news article that announced the tour cities. Here is an excerpt from that article:

After leaving Toronto, The Drowsy Chaperone will travel to more than 30 cities across the United States including Cleveland, St. Louis, Charlotte, Schenectady, Philadelphia, Cincinnati, Birmingham, Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa, Atlanta, Naples, Orlando, Raleigh, Hartford, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, St. Paul, Boston, Providence, Greenville, Houston, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles and San Francisco, among others.

Has anyone seen any information about the dates of the tour? I'd like to see this when it's in the neighborhood.

Those are all of the dates they've got up.

But ohmygod, Bob Martin is back as Man in Chair! I might have to go see the tour! I loved him in the Broadway production.

All the dates and ticket purchasing locations I'm seeing don't list San Francisco. Where did you see that confirmed?

It's a real shame if the only stop they're making for the whole of California is in Los Angeles.

It will be in SF! I'm so excited! They don't list the dates yet, but they do have it as part of their 07-08 season (along with Spring Awakening!)

Check it out!

Theatre League is also touring this show this season. Their tour covers many west coast cities. I'm seeing it tonight with the family. I'm hoping this is a good production as I've never seen the show before. I've heard it is a lot of fun though.

I have been wanting to see this show ever since a friend and I performed "Accident Waiting To Happen" at school for our theater class.

Well I saw the show last night and I have to say that it was lots of fun. The tour I saw was the Theatre league production. The cast in this production is uniformly good and their presentation is very fresh. The production values were also good for a touring show. The orchestra sounded great as well. I highly recommend this production for anyone who wants to see the show without traveling great distances.

Fantastic show. I saw it again before it left Atlanta because I thought I would never see it this good again.

I might pass on any new tours because you have to have the right casting to make a show like that work.
