Does anyone perchance have a PDF or scanned copy of the lib they would be willing to share? I'm more than likely auditioning for this soon and would really like a heads up on the scenes/how much to learn/character types for the 3 girl leads.

Ta's

As an update, I need 2 songs for my audition on Monday. I'm used to being given a song from the show to sing but this time I have to pick. Here is the criteria:

-2 contrasting songs (upbeat/ballad)
-Can use both musical theatre and non-musical theatre songs
-In style of the show (i.e. 80s)
-Auditioning for both Julia and Holly so need songs that show mix and belt

Anyone have any ideas?

I thought about Let's Hear it for the Boy from Footloose for one but I'm struggling to think of a ballad type 80s song!

Laura! Hiya! I thought of my favourite ballad from the 80's-90's, or at least in that style...
the one by Roxette that's called "It must have been love". That's one of my favourie songs to sing in the car... haha

I don't think that the ballad needs to be 80's necessarily. Something sincere and honest would work . I sang "Just Not Now" from I Love you Because. That song fits in PERFECTLY with Julia's character. It's a little bit lower but if you start from the bridge and go to the end there's some belt/mix parts.
Take a look at that. It reminds me a lot of "If I Told You."

Best of luck <3

Could the score (possibly) be posted again? I also need a copy for an audition, but the links seem to be taken down. :( Can anyone PM it?

Sorry to tread on your topic, pittising_poyns!

Laura, for your ballad, do a cut from I Know Him So Well from Chess, or Someone Else's Story. It's the definitive 80's musical :)
