Post For Collectors...
I've put together a list of all the Souvenir Brochures that I own for CATS. The list can be found here:

http://www.catscostumes.net/Site_3/CATS_BROCHURES.html

I thought that it would help others who collect photos and things. I have not put up the full Japanese sets yet, I am still dating them. Most of the brochures were put in randomly as I packed them away for the move, so the years are not in order.

Purrs,
VTWC

Well I'm not entirely sure how that helps... other than making me horribly jealous. I believe most people - especially those who can't actually afford to be collectors - would benefit more from scans of the brochures or photos of the more unusual items.

Still, thankyou for sharing.

Personally, I'd love scans of the Original Australian one. I don't have those pics. I think they're larger ones of the collage in the CD booklet.

I posted the list for those who would like to know which production put out brochures, some productions did not through the years. That way if someone wants a particular year, they can find it, say London, 1987, and if it came up on Ebay they would know what to ask the seller if there was no date information listed in the auction details.

Also, I have digital scans of some brochure that I have to add:

BELGIUM
DUTCH 1992 Tour
KOREA Unofficial
MOSCOW
CATS Book of the Musical, De Norske Teatern

Also for Lady Jemima as she's doing her Galleries and to let her know if she'd like some scanned photos of some of them.

Is Original Australian 1989? I've added them to my website recently - www.bellesdomain.co.uk :)

I don't aim for a complete collection or anything with my website, it's just there to share what I do have with everyone else :D

MJ - do you know anything about the cast, or what city/cities it went to? I may have a brochure I can scan, but I'm not sure whether it's from 85 or 89. (I'm probably blind and completely missing the publishing information.)

Well, 85 was Sydney, 87 transferred to Melbourne, 89 transferred to tour. I think it did Brisbane (in the lyric), Perth, Adelaide, Darwin, Sydney, Newcastle and Canberra, but that's a guess. It also did one or two NZ stops.

85 cast is same as CD, 89 Cast had:

1989 Au/NZ Tour

Asparagus: Bernard Hull
Bombalurina: Cat Lawrence
Carbucketty: Matthew Jackson
Cassandra: Loreen Tacke
Coricopat: Warwick Yuen
Demeter: Sharon Millerchip
Etcetera: Danielle Goullet / Makeely Louics Clark
George: Justin McNamara
Grizabella: Bev Harrell
Jellylorum: Anne Wood
Jennyanydots: Susan Ann Walker
Mistoffelees: Billy Burke
Mungojerrie: Dario Garguilo
Munkustrap: Richard Pettyfer
Old Deuteronomy: Lee Lawrence
Plato: Christopher Lamb
Pouncival: Bradford Leeon
Rumpleteazer: Deanne Burns
Rum Tum Tugger: Mark McAullay
Sillabub: Amanda Carnie
Skimbleshanks: Trevor Green
Tantomile: Carolyn Brown
Tumblebrutus: Stewart Crowley
Victoria: Tia Propocz

If youre into collecting I have an spare copy off the latest swedish productions broschure (basicly stockholm version off gothenburg 2006.) but it got a bit beaten up due to weather *remark to self: snow and broschures dont go well together* and isnt exactly in mint condition but still enjoyable.

That is so sweet of you, VTWC. I'll definitely let you know when I start finishing off galleries if I would like any scans. *hugs*

I just finished packing away the Japanese brochures so I have a list of them that I have to add on. The Phantom and Lion King stuff I'm not listing as I don't have much of it to post. Some world productions of Phantom from back in the 90's and stuff, and there is hardly anything for Lion King to collect..its hard to find stuff for the show and they have basically a "World Brochure" at this point, sort of what Le Miz did.
