Help with breakdown of male roles
Hi
Our society recently selected tKaI and my memory of the film is kind of hazy. Obviously there is the King and the children but as a 36 year old guy are there any other parts for men in the show other than Guard #6?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks Salome - do you have any idea of vocal ranges for the parts?
Or if you know where any of this stuff be found it'd be great if you could point me in the right direction.
Cheers

The King has a ridiculously simple vocal role. E3-E4 I Believe.
Lun Tha isn't tough either, kinda baritenor-y.

You see I love this show--it by far has one of the greatest story lines for the Rodgers and Hammerstein cannon--but I would never be in it-- for the sole purpose of there not being any roles I'd even consider.
The King dominates the show as being the only male if I can remember.
