 MP to close in London
...but I can't remember when.  I just thought of it when I stopped by here, so I thought I would post it...

they should definetely keep the show, its such a wonderful show and i mean its like really good and the sets are excellent and the performers are wonderful

I suppose with a tour, it will make the show accessible to all of the UK because as essentially a children's show, it's good that they can get the chance to see it if they don't live within easy travelling distance of London.

I think it will be hard for them to tour it. But they done a Chitty tour and modifide the way the car flies for that, so I think the might change the mechanics of the set, if you know whta I mean.

It will have run just over 3 years in the West End. That used to be considered very respectable. Now it seems that if something doesn't run for 10 years it was a flop.

It opened Dec 15th 05 I think.
Also, I'm noticing how children's shows (Mary, Chitty, Joseph [coming back] and others) don't tend to last very long.

Erm...Lion King and Beauty have done just fine, and they could be classified as 'children shows' if you're counting Mary.
