Anthony Warlow version. Even though a lot of those great songs got cut, it's still nice to hear them immortalized on recording.

I go with the 1994 studio recording (What I call the "Black Album") because I don't like Bob C. in the role of J/H. Anthony totally blows him away voice and emotion wise, and Anthony's rendition of Hyde is much nastier than Bob's.
I'm not big on Carolee Carmello, but I love the '94 because it has the songs "Bring on the Men" & "Girls of the Night" (which have been left out in other versions). I particularly dislike the '97 recording almost completely, save for the presence of Christiane Noll as Lisa (I absolutely refuse to call the character by her "other" name). "Good 'n' Evil" doesn't belong in this musical, rather it sounds like a single from something else.
I've never heard the earliest version, so I don't have anything to say about it.

That would be cool if you could do that.

Here´s my rating:
1. Concept 1994
2. Vienna 2002
3. Concept 1990 (beautiful songs though I can´t imagine Colm Wilkinson in that role)
4. Bremen 1999
5. OBC 1997

I have only ever heard the Broadway cast and the Anthony Warlow version - the latter wins HANDS DOWN!!! The Jekyll on the Broadway cast was appalling and I can't tell you how much I disliked the rest of it!

I love the original broadway cast recording. My only qualm with it is that not every song is on it. But Robert C. and Linda Elder are fantastic in it.
