Changes In Spamalot For Different Venues
When Spamalot is performed outside of New York City, is the ending changed? Are the references made still to NYC, or do they change from town to town?

I'm sure the show stays the same no matter what! but I get to see it sometime next year...so I guess I'll know then...even though in Las Vegas they cut some sceans to make it shorter for the Vegas crowd..but they'll most likely keep it the same!

That's great! It'd be stupid to make the ending "Best Peasant In New York" when it's in Vegas.

When they opened in chicago, they said they needed to get to "broadway...in CHICAGO!" because that is the name of the company that kinda oversees the big shows coming to town. But then they just referenced it as broadway for pretty much the rest of the show

I must admit, it will be interesting seeing it in London after seeing a broadway version. Though, my London poster does read: "Includes 23 seconds of silly bits not available of Broadway!"

In St. Louis, they changed the references to the Cards and Busch beer

I saw Spamalot in London during the previews and they had "You Won't Succeed on Broadway" printed in the programme and they sang "You won't succeed in showbiz" all but once and they guy who sang that probably went "oops" right after he did....LOL
The second time I saw it in London was after the previews in December and they changed the programme to just "You Won't Succeed" and the lyrics were all "showbiz." Oh and they have to go to the West End of London (naturally). "Do you know about this West End of London?" hehehe
What are these references everyone's talking about which have been changed to oprah, cards, busch beer, and bozo? What was this in London? (I don't remember the show THAT well.... )

So any more updates on how London handle the 'Broadway' quest and song?
Do they still have it as 'showbiz' and 'the west end' ?

It closed almost a year ago, but yeah, they had that in it until the end.
