I played this part in my school's production of Anything Goes,
last year. It is a really fun part to play, though I hope that you're friendly with the people playing Hope, Eli, and Evelyn, because most of the stage time of that character is with them. Luckily for me, two of my good friends played those parts in ours, so it was really fun. I don't know which version you're doing, but if it's the 60's version (the one with Bonnie as opposed to Erma, and has "Heaven Hop" and "Let's Step Out") then you get to do a little bit of singing in the song, "Bon Voyage." Actually, the whole song is kind of based around you, or at least that's the way we did it--that was really fun. Oh, and the best part is the scene at the end where you get to play a straight-up golddigger and be comedically over-dramatic about it (does that make sense?). The way most people phrased it is that I played the part as a "stuck-up bitch" (and I play that well! Hehe), so I guess something like that, unless your director says otherwise.
Hope this helped!
