From what I've been able to dig up, this is Yuichiro Yamaguchi, a Japanese Jesus from a production in the 90's (If I have the right one in mind, it had a a kabuki-style staging, which I think is kinda cool).

Anyway, whatever Yamaguchi is, he is definitely NOT a counter-tenor. Having heard him in other roles, I'd say he's baritenor, maybe leaning more towards the lower end of the range. Either way, I actually think he handles it pretty well.
