Post The Mysterious Man plot
Does anyone else think that the show takes the Mysterious Man plot too seriously without totally knowing where it's going?

Isn't it entirely a joke until it's revealed he's the Baker's Dad, at which point he dies and then comes back for one scene where he allows for proper resolution for the Baker and a substantial motivation for returning back to the others?

I mean, I'm just sayin', I don't even think there's enough there to be a "plot", much less one the show takes very seriously. He has exactly one serious scene in the show and it's one I at least think is pretty crucial to the Baker's development, so no, I don't think the show takes it too seriously, nor do I think they don't know where it's going.
