Post Revised Libretto
Does anyone know why James Lapine made the changes he did for the 2002 Revival?

What were the changes? I can't seem to get my hands on the book.

The main ones were Milky White being played by a live actor, encorporating the 3 Little Pigs, two wolves singing Hello Little Girl and the Witch singing Last Midnight to the Baker's baby.

I noticed on Music Theatre International's website that when you license Into the Woods, it says that it is the "Revised 2006 Version." Is that the same as the 2002 revival, or is it different?

I'm not aware of any revisions made in 2006 that were any different from the 2002 revisions.

It's the same libretto as always, with an appendix containing the 2002 revisions. The copyright date is 2006 because that's when the changes were submitted to the publishers.
