Post Audition help?
So, I am auditioning for ANNIE :D! I've already done the show last February with a different company, I got orphan ensemble. This was partly because it was my first show ever. Btw I'm 13, look kind of young for my age, and 5'4. This time I am auditioning for Annie, but I have not a clue in the world to sing. For every audition I usually sing something from wicked exept last time, I sang A Whole New World from Aladdin Juinor since I was just in it. I thought I might wanna sing One Short Day from Wicked but I want to do something a little better like Rose's Turn from Gypsey but idk... Btw what other part would I be good for since I've only done 2 shows and a mezzo soprano?

Heyy. Ok so don't ever sing something from Wicked. For Annie I would suggest you sing something upbeat and belty (because Annie is most definitely a belt)
Maybe let me entertain you from gypsy
or maybe something Disney
maybe try part of your world or something else from little mermaid, maybe reflection from Mulan. Yeah sing something age appropriate not from Wicked. Use Disney, your still young.

I love theater! <3

If you're thinking about doing something from Gypsy, how about "If Momma Was Married"? I know it's a duet in the show, but there's no reason you couldn't do it as a solo, and it's written for an ingenue role, unlike some of the other songs people have suggested.
