Did you hear her sing "There Are Worse Things I Could Do"? During that part at the end, she definitely sounded like she could have a belt.

Alice Ripley as Mamma Rose would be strange. I think she can probably do something with Rose's Turn, though. She seems pretty insane  .

NO NO NO NO NO!!!!! I don't want to see "lockjaw" sing for 2 + hours!! Awesome choice. BTW she is not only a soprano. She can belt in her lower register. Another great idea!! Very true. She was amazing!! Saw her twice!
I could leave this earth if she did. That would be heaven!!!

I really would like to hear DONNA MURPHY in the role. The inspiration comes from hearing her sing Losing my Mind (In terms of, having the vocal ability).
