If the producers of Wicked ever were requested to bring the show to Vegas, what improvements would you want to see made to the show? _________________

Make it darker and truer to the book. Please. Don't make it all completely about Elphaba and Glinda. Yes, we know the female friendship thing works to make money. But quality over finances thank you very much. They've already made enough money off the show. Take a possibly Vegas engagement as an opportunity to make something really good. Oh, and change musical Fiyero to book Fiyero. _________________

Giant elaborate orchestrations and costumes and effects. A big fat spectacle. Make Elphaba's "magic ticks" and whatnot real. Like really really real. And better. Just improve everything. Over the top craziness.

I actually don't want it to be too over the top, because that would take away from the story in the show. I loved the clock set, but I was thinking that they might want to go with a whole new set design for the show. Idk. And TVAW, that is true. Phantom and many of the other shows that are done in hotels have been shortened due to the focus on casinos and other hotel entertainment provided in Vegas. _________________

I've seen Phantom and Jersey Boys multiple times in Las Vegas. Although many of the casino owners would prefer it that way, it's not a rule that Strip productions of Broadway shows are shortened to that degree. Jersey Boys, while slightly shorter, does not run 90 minutes and actually has a (shortened) intermission. Mamma Mia was unaltered, and I believe The Lion King is also running at its full running time as well. _________________ The Very Angry Woman
