Alice Ripley as Mamma Rose would be strange. I think she can probably do something with Rose's Turn, though. She seems pretty insane :P.

I really would like to hear DONNA MURPHY in the role. The inspiration comes from hearing her sing Losing my Mind (In terms of, having the vocal ability).
