Post Curly's height.
Hello!
I've recently been cast as Laurey in a production of "Oklahoma!", and I'm really looking forward to it. :)
The only thing I'm kinda worried about is that my Curly is shorter than me, or my height at best. I'm 5"3.
Do you think this matters much?

Thanks!

first off he will be in heeled cowboy boots and you will have lace up boots on with no heel or a very small one so i think you should be fine..

A Curly under 5'3"? Talk about poor casting!

Maybe he was the best singer/actor for the role? I actually find it quite refreshing when talent wins out over a more traditional "look" in musicals.

But back to the topic on hand ...

I wouldn't worry about it. The show is already cast, and you have the role -- congrats! And as Salome mentioned, if you are uncomfortable with the height difference (or lack thereof), just ask the costumer to put you in very low heeled boots/shoes.
