When I looked at the poll choices, I happened to see Kelsey Grammar's name. How good was he?

Oh, and I chose JD, by the way. :)

What put his performance among some others for you? Personally, I'm a Cariou/Hearn fan.

Well, I've not really seen much else. I've seen a clip or so of George Hearn and saw a local production of the musical. That's just about it.

I've seen the movie LOADS of times, if that tells you anything. :D

I don't really have a huge problem with Cerveris. Can somebody offer an argument as to why he might be deserving of scorn?

I've seen Hearn in the DVD and the concert, Depp in the film, and a few revival clips of Cerveris. I do find Hearn a little over the top, but that might be because my first exposure was Depp (my quest to verse myself in musical theatre didn't get into full gear until the last couple years).

I've only heard Cariou, not seen him. His voice works for me, but in general I think I'd prefer somebody navigating the middle ground between Cariou and Hearn. I also watched that documentary of the London production (I forget the bloke's name, but I wasn't too fond of him).

That's pretty much how I got interested in the musical, is by JD's rendition. The ending of that movie ALWAYS gives me chills! xD And I've seen it too many times to count. :P

I've never heard Cariou sing. I've only seen pictures from the OBC and have seen him in two movies; Secret Window and 1408.

**Possible spoiler** Highlight to read.

Several. Off the top of my head, the last scene where Depp's eating corn all smugly and the sheriff comes to visit.

My problem with Cerveris is that he's just too... wooden. I can't stand his "My Friends." Also, I don't think his voice is deep enough.

^^ Yeah. I saw that movie for the first time a couple nights ago. Those movies based off Stephen King books are great! I can certainly tell that Len isn't aging all that well. :/
