Post Norwegian cast announced
http://www.mammamiathemusical.no/medvir ... dvirkende/

The production opens at Folketeatret in Oslo on March 19, 2009. They're aiming for a one-year run in a 1400-seat theatre, with seven performances a week (matinees on Fridays and Saturdays). Tickets go on sale to the public on August 25 (and cost an insane amount of money).

No! Heine Totland as Harry?
Well, maybe he can pull that part off, but I really don't like his voice. The casting seems pretty good though, except for Heine. I can hardly wait to see it!

Opening night now, as we speak!

Björn Ulvæus and Benny Andersson is present, so naturally there's lots of articles and pictures in various newspapers online.

And Anders Eljas is the musical leader of the production, something that makes me very happy! That man is too brilliant for words.

Ok, so how is the Mamma Mia! production in Oslo? Big hit? I checked the tickets sales and the show is being sold through October.

Is Dvarg hanging around the cast door after every show? :P

They're selling tickets until December now, but I think that will be the final month they're playing. Ticket sale has been a tad slow lately, especially after "Jesus Christ Superstar" and "Cats" opened.

But it's a great production, truly world class over it.

I think sets and costumes will be sent to Copenhagen next, were Mamma Mia is to open in 2010.
