It's currently in cinema's here. I doubt that I'll be seeing it in the cinema though, I'll wait for the DVD.

It is? Is it playing at one of the Pathes?

Anybody else excited to see The History Boys' Dominic Cooper sing? I love him.

If anything, I think both Brosnan and Streep look the part, but I've yet to hear much from them singing-wise.

I think the film will do fairly well, despite the fact that it's opening the same weekend as The Dark Knight.

I've just seen the Song List, and the way they've edited the list makes me ill.. They've removed "Thank You for the Music" which was an amazing stage song! I just sat there and wish I had all my friends their just so they could feel the amazing feelings that the song brings to real music fans. "Knowing Me, Knowing You" was the best song featuring a male in the show, I love how Sam just pulls of "Knowing Me, Knowing You" right after Sophie exits the stage. They've also removed "Under Attack" and "One of Us" which is ok by me, since I'm not a huge fan of those songs, but the scene which features "One of Us" is so sweet. I loved the entire scene! And they've putt "Our Last Summer" in the place of "Thank You For the Music" so I'm going to miss the lovely memorizing of the last summer of Harry and Donna, which is a very cute scene! And then they've putt "Take a Chance on Me" after "When All is Said and Done" instead of before the wedding ceremony, which I think mess up the most laughable sequence in the entire show!

YES! I love Cooper, and all the History Boys. I'd support all of them in their careers.

:D I love them. 'specially Cooper and Samuel Barnett [Posner <3]
He's got such a pretty voice. Love to see him in a musical.

I don't know how well "Thank You For the Music" would work on screen. It's really sweet when it's just basic, standing there and singing on a stage, but that never works in movies.

It comes out this Thursday in Australia. I never saw the stage show, I was a bit too young to appreciate, but I will definitely go this movie when it comes out! I am very excited to see it!!

I've just bought the Movie Soundtrack, and LAY ALL YOUR LOVE ON ME is brilliant! The orchestrations are new in almost all of the songs, and the orchestration in THE WINNER TAKES IT ALL is really good, except the fact that Meryll Streep is ruining the entire orchestration by adding her awful voice, but she sings other songs really good. The guy who plays Sam was not good at all. And the fact that they did not have CHIQUITITA on the Soundtrack (all though it is in the movie) was really disappointing..

I think the movie will be OK, Amanda Seygfried sings really good on most of her songs, and I am looking forward to seeing the movie. I am going with many of my friends, and I think it will be fun.
