I saw it in the cinema today and it was so funny! My friends don't like musicals so they kept on making fun of it :?

hehe

i liked it though, and Walters' singing really surprised me as she was so good!

I only have money for one movie this weekend, and The Dark Knight won.
I do plan on seeing Mamma Mia! as soon as I can, even if it is not until the DVD comes out.

Personally, I think that Meryll Streep will be the highlight of this movie. :)

By the way, I voted that it could be good or bad.

Don't have to much hope, Meryl Streep is the one person who brings this movie down, along with Pierce Brosnan.

I don't think it's going to be very good but I don't like ABBA and the clips I saw didn't look good.

How can you not like ABBA? It is one of my favorite pop groups! I actually feel kind of sorry for you..

Ohhhh my gosh. It was horrible.
I haven't laughed so hard in ages. It was, like, the "What am I watching??" kind of laughter.

This movie gives a new meaning to the term "Greek chorus."

I saw this movie tonight with my mom and dad. It was goofy and silly and full of ABBA. I didn't really mind. My mom was singing along, it was sort of embarassing. But my parents had SO much fun, I have to cut this movie some slack. If I saw it with my Musical Theatre geek friends we probably would have hated it, but Mamma Mia! is pure helium fluff. Considering the crap that is Footloose the musical, All Shook Up, Hott Feet, The Wedding Singer, etc., I suppose Mamma Mia deserves its own respect for a jukebox musical.
