I like her in Spamalot, but I don't like her in Grey's.
I think it's just the character "Callie" I don't like though.
George/Izzie forever! Haha.

Did you know she was offered a part by ABC on any ABC show she wanted? So she chose Grey's. Or at least that's what I heard.

Does anyone know if she's returning next season?

Love, love, love Sarah! I recently watch a replay of her singing Find Your Grail at the Tony's, and I was just dying she was so awesome. I love her on Greys' because she's a no nonsense character. Sigh, I think I might have a small girl crush!

I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure George won't be back.
SPOLIER WARNING
seeing as how he failed his inturn test, so maybe she'll leave the show within, but i doubt it since she got the "main citizen" or whatever job, but who knows.

WOW, I never realized that Sara Ramirez on Grey's and Sara Ramirez from Spamalot were the same person! Lol, I guess that was flakey of me, but who cares? That is awesome. :D

Okay, fyi, TR Knight (who plays George on Grey's) WILL be returning for the 4th season. Isaiah Washington was fired last week though. Shocking. Like we didn't see THAT one coming.

As for Sara (Sa-Da. Not Sarah) she's PHENOMENAL. Such a talent and such a wonderful woman. Hysterical as hell. I adore that girl. Absolutely loved her in Spamalot and lord knows we miss her there!!!!! :)

Im not so fond of her character on Grey's but I think it's the fact that it's Sara playing Callie that makes it alright. Any other actress and I would probably loathe Callie the way I loathe Sidney (that annoying resident who shows up every now and then to be a thorn in Bailey and all the interns sides.

PS, bear in mind that if you think her Tony performance was amazing, you ain't seen nothing! She was VERY under the weather then and if I remember correctly, she'd been out of the show most of the prior week, she was so sick.

I hear that Sara may appear in the cast of Spamalot in Toronto for a short stint.

But, this is also coming from a source olf mine who says that Tony Vincent is joining the Canadian cast of WE WILL ROCK YOU.

I gotta stop feeding my sources doughnuts and coffee!

Andy.

I saw Sara when she played Lady of the Lake. She was awesome!

I met her after the show too. She's a very nice person. :)

I thought Sara Ramirez was fabulous and she will always be the only voice I associate with the "Lady of the Lake". The You Tube performance only gives you a weak hint of her talent. Sitting in the theater ('theatre' for you Brits), her "Get Your Grail" performance literally worked the audience into such an overwhelming frenzy at its conclusion that we erupted in primal standing ovation hoping it would never end. I've never experienced that sensation in theater.

A few days after Sara won her Tony, I was privileged to attend the Actors' Fund benefit performance with the original cast along with hundreds of fellow actors in attendance. (You can imagine the laughs at the line about actors, "..who can dance and sing.")

When Sara left the show, my initial thought was that the show was over. No one, in my opinion, could ever replace her. She was that unique. I hope she returns one day to the role. She IS the Lady of the Lake.

I also hope that she gets to sing on Grey's. Having her only act on TV is like having Albert Einstein teach math to 3rd graders.

Sara was out when I saw SPAMALOT on Broadway. But her understudy Rosena M. Hill did a great job. She (= Hill) could have been funnier though, could have played up the comedy a bit.

I think Sara's vocal performance on the OBCR is brilliant. It would have been great to see her performance during the out-of-town try-outs before the show opened on Broadway - her part was much bigger then.

Sadly she got a great deal of bad press during her run in SPAMALOT because she missed a lot of performances during her 9 month Broadway run.
