Well, I read the libretto and played those two songs out of the score on my piano, and i have to say... the show's not missing much without them. They are the two worst songs in the show, and the witch-burning sequence was cheesier and more forced than anything else in the show, save maybe the "trying to figure out what AIOI means" sequence.

I saw the pre-broadway here in chicago, as well as the one on broadway, and I do like the fact that they cut the cow song. It was pointless, and just dragged on. The witch burning song was very silly, but I did love that scene from the movie, and I was saddened when it got cut from the show.

I uploaded it. It has "Burn Her" on it (it's a swing-style song).

The song marked "time to say adieu" is the Cow Song.

Now that anyone who cares has heard the songs, what are your opinions? Should the sequences have stayed in the show, or are they useless and more or less dead weight?

They don't do anything for the show, really. They're good, but they're not needed.

I really liked the burn her song, it was just fun onstage, but didnt add anything so i assume they cut it for that reason.
