G(a)linda all the way. And you spoke my mind in this quote!!!

Sometimes I wish I was a girl, just to play Elphaba. sjhe gets to do so much.

Act
Dance
Sing
Fly
Come out of the floor
Be green
Be the lead
Go on moving scenery
Wear a wig
Wear a fantastic costume

The actress basically get bthe entire theatrical treatment.

G(a)linda is one of my dream roles.

And Glinda does most of the same:
Act - Yep
Dance - Yep
Sing - Yep
Fly - Not exactly...but the bubble is better (except when the machine breaks and gets "bubble juice" all over the actresses face)
Come out of the floor - Yep
Be green - No...but she gets lots of glitter...and gets to wear pink!!
Be the lead - Yep
Go on moving scenery - Yep
Wear a wig - Yep, several

Wear a fantastic costume - Yep. best costumes in the show imo.

Sadly, the only play I have been in was during last year's Playwriting Marathon. I wasn't even a major role. My dream is to be a principle character one day. Still waiting for that to happen. [-o<

the play i'm in right now is seussical. I'm a bird girl (we're the narrators if you don't know what seussical is - a musical based off os dr. seusses books) its awesome. i've been on other plays too. and to the others who were posting like right above ... well like a few above, i think that elphaba and galinda are two of the most elaborate roles on broadway right now. wicked is a very involved play, such as with set, costumes, drops, make up etc. and i know... there are so many roles that you would love to play but can't because you're the wrong gender. such as for me i would love to play mark from rent, or mr. hart in 9 to 5 or usnavi in in the heights, or... well there are tons but i'm a girl. how ever... because i'm a girl i can play elphaba so it makes up for everything else :)

cool. i've had like 4 people comment on how i shouldn't belt because im too young and my voice isn't ready for it. well, i've been belting since i was like 6 and my voice has only improved (for you people who might be reading this).

Somehow I find that hard to believe...

Well, some people can belt really well when they're young, but sometimes I think that they scream or just sing loud....I'm not sure what the difference is :?

um... yeah. i mean i actually belt but i know like 5 people who think that they can belt and they're like i'm an amazing belter but if they would have a panel of like 5 people listen to them all 5 people would say um you're just yelling really loudly. sometimes people need to be told the truth. because if they are always trying to sing because they think they're so good it gets really annoying. and you can get major headaches

I'm sorry I made that sound really rude! I posted that and then I had to go to choir practice, and I realized that I sounded rude!

Yea, some people are naturally really really talented with stuff like that, but that's rare, so kudos if you can legit belt!

Um...I think that I'd play Elphaba, most of my friends say I could be her really easily. But I'd like to be the Stand-By first, because I mean, you get to become her later anyways right? And you're not hurting your voice as much...

I would be Elphaba. No other character suits me in Wicked like Elphaba does :)
