Post Did You Cry?
I know, I'm odd. Sue me. :P

When you saw WICKED, did you cry at all, for any reason?

I cried during Defying Gravity, as soon as the cherry picker went up. I didn't realize I was crying until the house lights came up... I was kind of weirded out. lol

Anyways, did you cry, and why?

I cried when the show first started, but I do that at every show. It's just such a powerful feeling.

I had major goosebumps. I had a total of 23 theatergasms while in the Gershwin

I cried during Defying Gravity. Not like, weeping, but a couple of trickling tears kind of thing. It was just overwhelming. I cried at Hairspray, too, though.

I cried during Defying Gravity, and during For Good.

But I cry over everything. Movies, books, musicals, you name it.

When in the world did you cry in Hairspray? There's no real touching moment that comes to mind... all of the love stuff is funny!

I've seen the show 5 times, and I didn't cry the first three times I saw it (in Chicago), but I cried the 4th, (in London) when Idina first ran out on stage, which had little to do with the show, but with the fact I was sitting front row centre and Idina was standing right in front of me, and after flying from the middle of the US just to see her, in that moment of actually seeing her, it hit home and I started crying. Her pain in Defying Gravity that night was particularly palpable and it caused a few tears then as well, and of course during For Good. Frankly during For Good I'd probably have felt bad if I wasn't crying! Helen was genuinely balling, and this was late October! I cried when I met Idina afterward, but that really has little to do with the actual show.

Could you describe the feeling a little more?
