Post Tony Winners Song Project for School
I'm doing a project on musicals of the 2000s for my humanities class. For extra credit, I can make a CD/CDs of music to go with the project. One of the CDs I'm making is going to have a song from each of the Tony winners of Best Musical and Best Original Score, but since I'm not overly familiar with all of the shows in those categories, I'm asking for opinions. So I'd like everyone to give me one song that you personally feel best represents any or all of the following musicals (and for ones that won both categories, give me two songs):

Best Musical
2000 - Contact
2001 - The Producers
2002 - Thoroughly Modern Millie
2003 - Hairspray
2004 - Avenue Q
2005 - Monty Python's Spamalot
2006 - Jersey Boys
2007 - Spring Awakening
2008 - In the Heights
2009 - Billy Elliot

Best Original Score
2000 - Aida
2001 - The Producers
2002 - Urinetown
2003 - Hairspray
2004 - Avenue Q
2005 - The Light in the Piazza
2006 - The Drowsy Chaperone
2007 - Spring Awakening
2008 - In the Heights
2009 - Next to Normal

Thanks in advance! :)

^Yes. He said he wants the project to be on recent stuff (as in, from our lifetime), so I chose musicals of the 2000s.
