Post American Idiot Anyone?
***Sorry if this is already a topic in the forum.

Hello fellow thesbians. I first heard about Michael Mayer's adaptation of Green Day's smash album American Idiot (which I loved) a few months ago, and have been awaiting the release of the cast recording for quite some time. Well, I just got the record, and am so digging it! Really hope the show decides to go on tour (stuck in the south >:/).

***WARNING: Auto-tune is used somewhat heavily. But it still very good. Powerful.

So.... yeah. What do you guys think of the show? And has anyone heard anything about the show maybe going on tour???? Thanks :)

There indeed happens to be an existing thread. If you'd like to contribute to it, it's here. :P

Not interested. It's probably got an all-tenor cast.

There IS one featured baritone role/track.

The General, a charismatic army recruiter, appears in a commercial sequence, singing about the perks of being one of the "favorite sons" of the American military-industrial complex. He later inspects the new recruits, travels to Iraq, and is wounded in battle.
