Post Hairspray - laughing during "Timeless to Me"
So, I've heard from a few people that during "Timeless to Me" the actors burst out into laughter, breaking character. It happened when I saw it too. So, my question is... do they do it every night on purpose, or is it a coincidence that all of my friends have seen laughing actors during this scene?

I've got to admit, it was damn funny when it happened, but it just seems odd that they would do it on purpose every night. :?:

I saw that too! It went on for, like, 3 minutes.

Aww that really sucks. I just thought it was one of those classic "Actors got swept up in the moment" things, but it kind of ruins it if EVERY show gets the laughs. Oh well.

sometimes in pro shows they add a gag that makes it seem like the actors are breaking character, or something happens that you think is a mistake...cuz it makes for a good story and usually the audience eats shiz like that UP. you can tell you friends that you saw this show and the actors totally started laughing! i think its a clever ploy. hah.

the eq. theatre i worked at did lucky stiff and they added a gag like that where it totally looked unplanned and the actors started laughing as if they were breaking character...every night the audience went wild.

it is what it is.
