Post Help With Simple West End Show Guide
Hi guys,

My place of work have just opened a new Theatre Ticket office and I have been given the task of making a simple guide to the West End shows for my colleagues. The majority of them don't know much about the Musicals we will be selling tickets for and although I am a musical theatre student it would be great to get some other people's opinions.

We already have a guide with a short discription of each musical's story line but I want to produce something that gives them an idea of the feel and style of each show.

To start with it would be great if you could just think of a couple of words that discribes the feel and style of each show I've listed. Obviously if you have any other ideas it would be great to hear them.

Shows

Billy Elliot -
Blood Brothers -
Ghost -
Jersey Boys - Jukebox
Les Misérables - Traditional
Let It Be - Jukebox
The Lion King - Kids
Mamma Mia! - Jukebox, Kids
Matilda - Kids
The Phantom of The Opera - Traditional
Rock of Ages - Jukebox
Shrek - Kids
Singin’ In The Rain - Traditional, Light
Thriller Live - Jukebox
Top Hat - Traditional, Light
We Will Rock You - Jukebox
Wicked -

Thanks in advance for your help,

Alix

It's not quite what you want but check out London Theatre and Theatre Breaks - you can download it for free at http://www.theatrebreaks.co.uk/london-theatre-book
I hope it helps

I'd add a few more recent shows to the list (I know you wrote this a little while ago but could still be useful!)

Billy Elliot - energetic and cheeky, kids love it!
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - magical for all ages
Miss Saigon - legendary
Once - incredible music
The Importance of Being Earnest - classic comedy. Interesting take on it too, check out their site http://www.importanceofbeingearnest.co.uk/
