Post Need ideas for a show
My theater group wants to put on a show in june.
Any ideas for a cast of approximately 6 adults, 8 teenagers and 10 children? (Mostly women and girls).
We can invite more people if needed.

Thanks in advance.

Annie would be a great choice! There could be 10 orphans (including Annie), and the teenagers and adults could do the rest, as long as some have multiple parts. It would be easier if you invited more people, but it can still be done!

I dont know how good youre at dancing and how expencive costumes you can afford but giving youre group set up I can imagine that Cats would be a good musical (with the teen and adults doing the lead and major roles and the kids doing the kittens.) Maybe an idea?

Any theatre group with children would not do justice to Cats.

Annie on the other hands sounds like a great option!

It would be wonderful to do CATS...without the children. But we have to have the kids in the show (so the parents don't get mad, hehe). And it can't be Annie because it's been done recently by another company where we live.
More ideas? Please :?:

Thank you for your ideas :)

Another good choice would be Oliver!

Cinderella doesn't require too many people. Maybe Peter Pan as well.
