Post The Importance of Being Earnest the musical
I know there are two productions of The Importance of Being Earnest coming to London within the next two years, the 2014 at the Harold Pinter http://www.importanceofbeingearnest.co.uk/ and the 2015 with David Suchet http://importanceofearnest.com/. But what do you all think about an Earnest West End musical? I think it would make an incredible musical, the characters would be perfect and there's so much scope for good songs. I think someone is missing a trick, I know there was an Earnest musical back in 2011 at the Riverside Studios but I didn't hear much about it at the time. A proper West End musical would be brilliant, someone should take it on! What does everyone think?

There's a much older musical version called "Ernest in Love".
