This could be really fun!

It makes perfect sense--it just seems so sudden. Usually, when I big show by a really noteable composer is headed to Broadway with a big star, we hear about every step of the way. Ya know what I mean?

The show has been listed on Playbill.com's upcoming shows since a while. Hugh Jackman was always mentionned to play the lead, and it's great that it will actually happen!
I hope for a less-pop score than Wicked, but it's still Stephen Schwartz.

Oh, weird. This is literally the first time I've even heard of it. I'm excited though. Schwartz always has at least one classic Broadway-sounding song in each of his shows (like "Wonderful" or "All for the Best") so maybe this whole show will have that kinda feel?

I feel like I'd heard about this happening before, but it was probably just news of the opera that Schwartz wrote, now that I think about it. This news is coming a bit out of left field, but I think it could be really good, especially with Jackman.

The opera was a different project. It is called "Séance on a Wet Afternoon". The premier was held in my town and my daughter was able to attend with her school choir.
