For this game, the player quotes a a sentence or two from the book - let's restrict ourselves to the spoken dialogue and exclude stage directions and so on - of a musical and everybody else tries to guess the title of the show! The one who guesses it correctly provides the next clue.

Let's begin:

"I'm not in love with Sally . Hell, I never was . There's no one in my life; there's nothing. That's what's killing me."

Okay:

"Well, it looks to me like the confused against the mistaken, with the well-meanin' comin' in to screw it up on both sides".

I believe that is from The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas? I love Dolly Parton in the admittedly very different film version of that show.

Cool! How about this one?

"Hang yourself. It'd be as easy as falling of a log. In fact, you could stand on a log, or a chair if you'd rather. Right about here, see? Just put this here 'round your neck, tie that good up there first, of course, and all you'd have to do would be to fall off the log, or the chair, whichever you'd rather fall off of, and in five minutes or less with good luck you'd be dead as a doornail."

A pretty easy one: "I have, on occasion, wanted more. But that doesn't mean I went in search of it".

I have a feeling it could be one off the wizards line in Wicked. He says something simular anyway. With a slight reservation that it could be the same caracter in the Wizard of Oz.
