1. Which is your favourite musical from this decade? Why?
Cats. I've liked it comparatively better than Les Mis, Phantom or Miss Saigon. I know that people deride it for its lack of plot. However it just wraps you in its unique, mysterious world from the get-go. At least it still has a structure - exposition, build-up, climax and resolution. Les Mis is more realistic and Phantom is more romantic I was least enamoured by Miss Saigon. I did not find that score palatable. So Cats has remained in my golden books.

2. Which musical on the Top 10 list is least deserving of a spot? Why?
n/a

3. Which musical from this decade that didn't make the list do you think should have appeared in the Top 10? Why?
n/a

4. Which cast recording of a show that premiered in this decade is your favourite? Why can't you stop listening to it?
Cats Broadway Cast. I find that this version is so much better than the London version. It fizzles with more energy and benefits from the revisions that were done for Broadway. The London version comes off as anaemic. It's remarkable that the American cast does well in this British musical.

5. If you could pitch a film version, television adaptation or revival for a musical from this decade, which would you choose? Who would you cast? Discuss.
n/a
