Post A Grand Night for Sining
Does anyone know what the set up for this show is? Is it more like Side by Side by Sondheim where there is no plot and many facts about shows and songs are revealed or does it have a plot? I am enchanted by it after hearing some of their "renditions" of the songs--especially "Maria".

There's no plot and not much is revealed. It's mostly just a collection of songs, which gives good singers a chance to show off on stage.

A Grand Night For Singing is a straightforward revue, but it does have some really interesting alternative arrangements of the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein songs - particularly "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Out of My Hair" and "Honey Bun". It's a delightful little show. Anyone else a fan?
