you call yourself a theatre fan and you dont know Cat on a Hot Tin Roof???

That is the dumbest, most pretentious thing to say.

no its not Cat On A Hot Tin Roof is considered one of the 10 essential plays. If you are a theatre fan you have come across it at least once. after all there are 3 different filmed versions of the piece and its been on mounted on broadway 5 times. Regional,Coolege and Community theatres do the show often.
Its in every public library and book store.

Just out of curiosity, what are the other 9?

Yeah. One of the greatest American playwrights, and I don't know anything beyond the movie version of Streetcar...

Well, I chose 'Starlight Express' as you asked for the best show, and it is the one I must enjoyed when I went to see it, but it's not my favourite soundtrack.

For the soundtrack I like especially:
Whistle Down The Wind
Sunset Boulevard
The Phantom of the Opera
Cats

evita - but mostly because patti lupon is amazing...however I do love the tronging energy ALW put into the music. JCS is pretty good to though. and POTO is just a different style.....but I love it as well.

I find it very hard to choose between Sunset and the Phantom. I voted the Phantom, maybe because I've listened to it all day.
