Post "Every morning just the same...": The Costumes
I've always found it very interesting that the designs of the character's costumes (with the exception of the Objects, of course) costumes in this show stay very true to the original Disney film and I'm curious why the show's creative team decided to do this. Did they make a deal with Disney agreeing to keep the costume designs the same? While it successfully delivers to the expectations of the audience members who've seen the film, I don't like how keeping the designs nearly identical to the film limits the artistic license of the director. What do you guys think?

I guess they do it because they know that's what the audience is expecting. I had a friend say to me 'Oh, do you get to wear the gold ballgown?' Some of the costumes are pretty iconic and it's their interest that the audience are satisfied.
