Post Be Our Guest--Babette
I was listening to the song and the other day and had an idea: You know the slower, "Life is so unnerving, for a servant who's not serving...." part? What if Babette sang that part with a lounge-singer thing going?
Good or terrible idea? Opinions?

I think it could definately work, especially if Lumiere came back in with the last line because then comes the Tango.

I think that's an awesome idea :) I wish my director would have done that when I played Babette!

Thank you =)
I'm trying out for Babette, so I guess I'm just thinking of ways to get my character in there more. lol

Aw great! I wish you the best of luck. Have you though about what you're going to do for your audition song yet?

We're doing the show through a class-type thing, so when we audition we sing songs from the show. I'm guessing the director will have the Babettes sing "Home", since most of them want to be Belle as well (ha! that rhymed!) anyway.

LottieLou, you know as well as I do, you just want an excuse to bring out the grand piano and lay on it
