Post Your favorite YouTube videos of BATB
If you're a big fan of the show, like me, you may look up clips on youtube to watch every so often! :) what are your favorite performances you've come across? Great singing or costumes or a great transformation...?

Just came across these videos, I really like the transformation in this one (of course it's a big budget professional production!!)

the fight is sorta blah, but at 4:00 it gets good.

I really like this woman:

She gets off at the end, trying to go up on the last "mind", but I just love her interpretation of Belle. Watch all the videos under that name, ookete. Their production was amazing. A community theater, I think she said in Utah? But it's in the ROUND. Can you imagine BATB in the round?? and yet they pulled it off beautifully, especially with the turntable stage.

I mean, just look at this!!!

I love the freeze around the fountain.

Gah, I just love that production. I love this show so much when it's done well!!

Oh yes, youtube is my MAIN source of info when searching for scenes or songs for my upcoming musicals. A few months ago my HS did b&b, and I was a youtube addict for that time, and viewed everything from amazing to "OMG, people actually watched that!". But anyway, enough with my rant. Here are two youtube users, both with clips from the same production of B&B....

I was very impressed with their production, and wish that somebody had put up the tapes from our very own show, but alas, they haven't. Enjoy:)

So maybe I'm biased but I loved our Gaston when I was in it. The fact that he was only 15 or 16 when we did it still astounds me.

I wish I could find a video on here of our Belle. She just simply embodied the role in a perfect way.

I really love this rendition of the song. Their Belle has such a non-traditional Belle voice, so different from most girls who play this part. But her belt notes are AMAZING. She'll go places.

Hmm... interesting interpretation. I like the underplayed aspect, but even though the song is supposed to exhibit a "different" Belle, she should still be... happy... don't you think? She seemed mad the whole song! LOL!
(Plus... and I'm sorry I'm going to be nitpicky.... she was flat on a lot of notes at the beginning... well, pretty much until she started belting.)

Well, here's a few from the production I was in last summer. Unfortunately, Belle's weakest song was "A Change in Me" I thought, but she was only 17, so I think she did GREAT for that. I'm LeFou as well, so, don't be too harsh on me! haha. Here:

And then my Gaston Reprise can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1ay0tABcTM

Hope you like! The ensemble was iffy, but oh well! haha. It's community theatre.
