We did:

non-dancing chorus
dancing chorus (so the featured peeps, like the napkins and wolves)
Babette, Chip, Mme Grand Bouche
Silly Girls
Maurice, D'Arque
Lumiere, Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts
Gaston, Lefou
Beast, Belle

Everyone who came out after the chorus ran out in their little group or pair, but bowed seperately. It was all really well-timed.

in the October 2006 six production when i was "Beast" we did it this way

1st - kids
2nd - Misc. Objects
3rd - Daning Flatware
4th - Can-Can Napkins
5th - Silly Girls
6th - d"arque and Maurice
7th - Babette and Wardrobe
8th - Mrs. Potts and Chip
9th - Gaston and Lefou
10th - Lumiere and Cogsworth
Last was Belle and Beast -- We came out together and bowed together then I would bow alone and then let her have the final single bow then we bowed a 2nd time together and then as the entire cast came forward I motioned to the Orchestra and Lights and Sound and Backstage and then I lead the entire cast in the company bow.

That's... a really long curtain call.

Why didn't people go in groups, just like the ensemble did? It sure would save time...

Haha, well, since we were the first hs or comm. group to perform the show in CNY and possibly all of Upstate NY, the audience didn't really mind. And it wasn't too long, no more than a minute and half tops. Everyone went wild every night, so it wasn't a biggie.

When I watch a show, I often put a few characters together in a "unit." Then in the curtain call, I expect them to bow together and I can show my appreciation for that unit because they worked so well together. If Lumiere and Cogsworth came out seperately, I would be thrown off a little bit.

*shrugs*
That's just me, though.

The way it was in the production I was in was something to this effect:

Ensemble People
More Ensemble People
Prince, Baker, D'Arque's "Assistant"
Silly Girls
D'Arque
Chip, Chip's Spoon
Maurice
Wardrobe
Babette
Cogsworth
Lumiere
Mrs. Potts
Lefou
Gaston
Belle & Beast

yeah...there were some made-up parts here and there...but I was Lefou! Yes for the comical antagonistic sidekick...which I always seem to be...!

I like this bowing the best from what I've seen here!
I didn't really agree with our order, especially since Lefou had the first bow, and I came out rather late... (Though that was because I got to bow with Lumiere... I'm not complaining ;) )

We had
Male Chorus
Kids
Female Chorus
Lefou & D'arque
Maurice
Wardrobe & Cogsworth
Babette & Lumiere
Gaston
Mrs Potts & Chip
Beast
Belle

Unfortunately the Silly Girls didn't get a proper bow as one of them doubled up as the Wardrobe, so she had her own bow.

I can't remember what ours actually was, but in my opinion the best order is:

Ensemble
D'Arque & Silly Girls
Wardrobe, Babette, and Chip
Maurice and Lefou
Mrs. Potts, Lumiere, and Cogsworth
Gaston
Beast and Belle
