A Little Night Music Vocal Ranges?
Does anybody know the vocal ranges of the characters in ALNM? I've looked around here and poked around on Google a bit and didn't find anything, so do forgive if this has been asked before.

All the women are altos, except for Anne who is a soprano. Frederik and Carl-Magnus are baritones, and Henrik is a tenor.

Thank you! And what are the highest notes that Charlotte and Petra sing, out of curiosity?

Not to contradict Apples2for10, just providing some more info. I googled "a little night music vocal ranges" and this turned up http://www.thearlingtonplayers.org/drup ... /4661/showThat theatre is having auditions soon for the show and gives a bunch of info about the characters and their vocal ranges.

That link no longer includes the information. Anyone have a link or the info for actual ranges?

I don't know a lot of exact notes - Henrik's highest note is a B, Frederick's highest is an F, I think. Carl-Magnus's is either an F or an F-sharp, Erlanson is a B-flat, Lindquist is an F... that's all I know.

Anne has a high C6. (Soprano) Mme. Armfeldt has somewhere around a Ab4 in the middle of the staff (Contralto) Nordstrom has a super-Eb6 Fredrika has an Eb5 Petra has to belt a C5. Charlotte has a B4 in her solo parts, but... All of the women have to sing up to a high Eb5 or F5 in weekend. Could be cheated an octave down.
I'm too tired to look up Desiree, but it is a lower role.

F or F# for the baritones. Ah, good. I can handle that. The tessitura feels a little high for me, but... hell, if you can't stretch it a little in a community theatre production, where can you?
