Even though I already posted in the thread:

Sweeney Todd in Sweeney Todd
Benjamin Stone in Follies
The Boatman in Sunday in the Park with George
Pseudolus in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (provided the high notes aren't too much)
The Witch in Into the Woods (it has been played by male actors... right?)
Frederik Egerman in A Little Night Music
Either of the male leads in Merrily We Roll Along. Probably won't happen.
John Wilks Booth in Assassins
J. Bowden Hapgood in Anyone Can Whistle
The guy in Marry Me a Little

Anita - WSS
Little Red Riding Hood or Baker's Wife - ItW

I've not had the opportunity to perform at all, seeing as though HS is really keeping me on my toes (yes, even during the summer). Because of this, I haven't had the chance to know what my singing range is, although I'm guessing mezzo-soprano. Just thought I'd throw that bit out there, too.

1. Joanne--Company (I wouldn't pass up the chance to play Sarah or Amy either)
2. Baker's Wife--Into the Woods (I was in Into the Woods Jr. once as Cinderella's Mother. I'd love to be in the show again)
3. Mrs. Lovett or ensemble in Sweeney Todd (it's really cool how each individual ensemble member gets to essentially create their own character)
4. Charlotte--A Little Night Music
5. Madame Armfeldt--A Little Night Music (for when I'm really old)

1.- Mrs. Lovett (Sweeney Todd)
Not only is Mrs. Lovett my dream Sondheim role, but she's my dream role in-general. You can play her so many different ways, and there are so many oppurtunities to give her your own little quirks. She's kind of like a blank page that you get to fill in. She's a part that's in my range, and I love all her music. Getting a chance to portray her would be a dream come true.

2.- Baker's Wife (Into the Woods)
Ever since I was little, I've always wanted to play this role. She gets to be the comic relief on many occasions, but she also gets a ton of dramatic scenes. I love all the songs she gets to sing, especially "It Takes Two" and "Moments in the Woods".

3.- The Witch (Into the Woods)
I absolutely love all the music that the Witch gets to sing. "Last Midnight" gives me chills every time I listen to it or see it performed. Her character is very much like Lovett to me, but just in the sense that you can portray her in an endless amount of ways while also giving her your own quirks.

Hopefully one of these roles will come my way at some point. [-o<

Mrs. Lovett all the way!

The Witch (again, but in a full, professional production). I could seriously become one of those performers who become known for one role, and if that were so for me, this would be the one. And age isn't really a factor - I mean, her appearance is quite youthful after the curse is lifted, and I already have a very mature way about me.

Also, Mrs. Lovett, once I am a bit older and develop more of a mix. Because a) it takes place in Victorian London and b) I can totally relate to her the rather emotionally detached yet obsessive nature (as sad as that is).
