Whoever said that it should be a Disney animated film, you should be hit! And this film should NEVER be put into the hands of Tim Burton!!!!!! EVER! The movie, if they ever decied to make it, should be live action set in the 1800's in hills of Scottland or France, filmed on location... the movie should start with the Narrator telling the story to his grandchild and the whole story should be seen through the grandchild's imagination.

Witch: Meryl Streep?
Narrator/Mysterious Man: Patrick Stewart
Cinderella: Anne Hathaway
Baker: Steve Carell
Baker's Wife: Toni Collette
Jack: Sam Aston, british actor
Jack's Mother: Angella Lansbury
Little Red Riding Hood: Dakota Fanning, if she can sing
Cinderella's Stepmother: Elizabeth Perkins
Stepsisters: ?
Voice of Cinderella's Mother: Angella Lansbury
Wolf: Patrick Stewart
Rapunzel: Kristin Chenoweth
Cinderella's Prince: Brandon Routh
Rapunzel's Prince: Jonathon Groth
Grandmother: Meryl Streep?
Giant's Voice: Dame Judy Dench, also did the voice for the revival
Snow White:?
Sleeping Beauty:?

It's about the acting not the singing. Personally, I couldn't care less if the person who played the Baker's Wife was classically trained. Or if she could even sing well at all. As long as she can act the part.

exactly. I am not impresed with Toni Collette as an actress. and Cheno is just annoying.

Zeta Jones would be a perfect Witch though.

I have to agree on this. I think she would be really good in the role!

For some reason, I could see Natalie Portman as Cinderella, if she could sing. Or maybe Kelli O'Hara.

Catherine Zeta-Jones would be brilliant as the witch, imo. And Dakota would be so cute as Little Red.

i can't stand Dakota Fannint.... can she even sing? I think that the Little Red should be British :P
