Post MEN? The Musical... not going the traditional route!
Hi guys!

We are in the process of trying to find an investor and production company for our musical 'MEN? The Musical'... A musical for all the single, frustrated women of the world.

We have decided to go the non-traditional route and have started out digitally, we have:

YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKFA0QlZZ_Q
Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/MENtheMusical
Twitter profile: http://www.twitter.com/menthemusical

It would be great if you could follow the above accounts!

We are also releasing a song from the musical on iTunes in the next couple of weeks, keep an eye out for the updates via our social media!

We have some very reputable people on the team - Karl Ronan, Alex Sharpe, Claudine Day, Ronan Dooney, Pamela Keeley and Rebecca Keogh to name but a few :)

If you're not bored of reading by now and feel you could read some more, below is a synopsis of the musical:

MEN? The musical is geared towards confused, frustrated single females looking for love. This glamorous jaw dropping big band musical centres around a character called Jennifer. Mid-30s and single. Exhausted and frustrated as she is still part of the cattle market scene and searching for Mr.Right! I Think? is a comic tongue twister song that Jennifer sings at the speed of lighting as she analyses her thoughts on men who seem to tease her with love. She has been hanging out with a male friend for roughly 3.5 years which angers her friend Annie as Annie believes Free Agent Robert is preventing Jennifer from finding the love of her life. Though not in love with Jennifer, Robert fondly offers Jennifer friendship, humour and health benefits that a rabbit can’t supply! Free Agent is a jazz style song explaining what makes up this type of man.
Annie strongly thinks he is distracting Jennifer and deterring her closest friend from finding The One! Annie believes Robert is cleverly manipulating her friend and she tries to help her friend overcome this addiction that Jennifer has with him by constantly setting her up on hopeful dates. Maybe He Could Be The One? is a hopeful song Jennifer sings each time she goes on a date. Meanwhile Annie has her own life to deal with. Married to Ben. Two children. Sometimes Annie thinks she has lost her own identity by being a parent and a wife. It seems to be all about them!
Meanwhile, Jennifer’s divorced friend Rebecca with three grown up children thinks Jennifer has a life that a lot of women would envy. Good career. Own home. Freedom to come and go as she pleases. Stop Gap Guy is a big band swing dance number sung by Rebecca. She tells Jennifer to embrace singleton life and enjoy hanging out with guys until Mr. Right comes along!

Jennifer finds herself crushed by singleton life. She is angered that she cannot read men at all? To keep her spirits up, her friends drag her along to classes, this time Salsa. Control Me shows the audience a comic salsa song and dance routine with both Jennifer and Rebecca singing but coming from different angles. While Jennifer feels frustrated with the lack of guidance from her male partners, Rebecca enjoys the role play. Though Jennifer doesn’t have a shortage of dates, she discovers she is attracting men who want a no strings attached relationship! These dates that lead to nothing slowly break her self-esteem. To cover up her heartache, she brushes it aside and returns for comfort to her Free Agent Robert, again and again. This unrequieted love relationship is eating away at her and deep down she always hopes that Robert will admit he is actually in love with her. I Need Time is a heart breaking song that shows the audience Jennifer has made the decision to cut her ties with Robert in order for her to gain her self-worth. Eventually find love and live happily ever after. Does Jennifer’s dream come true?
